Let's hear more about Liz!
1. Who are the members of your family?
Members of my family.....husband Garrett, Chyler my 9 year old, Stella my 3 year old and myself. We also have Garrett's Aunt Anita living with us.
2. What is or was your career?
Now I am a stay at home mom. However, I am a jack of all trades so to speak. I have worked in the medical field for the longest portion of my career life, I was also a Pre-K teacher for a few years and I went to school to work on cars. I recently worked sales at Davids Bridal part time and that was a very enjoyable experience.
3. How long have you been a member of Stroller Strides of Savannah and what has it done for you?
I have been working out with Stroller Strides now for over a year. I feel that it has definitely helped me lose inches and become physically stronger and fit. I just love it!
4. What is something that has surprised you about motherhood?
Well....motherhood in itself a journey that has bettered me as a person. I never knew that I could love someone more than myself. Everyday is a new experience, and a new lesson learned in the "game of life".
5. Favorite website(s)?
Hahahaha!!!!!! My favorite website is backyardchicken.com. For sure. I could spend hours just reading a chatting with others about their experiences and learn new things about poultry in general. My second favorite site is google. I truly believe in researching everything that I have questions about. I am all for learning something new especially if I don't know the answer. Because of this...I am pretty good at trivia games. Lol!!! I am full of random facts of knowledge. Hahahaha!!!!
6. List three current obsessions.
My current obsessions....that's tough. Well number one would have to be God. I put Him first a foremost in all aspects of my life. Second would be my family. I would anything for them no matter the costs, and third would be my chickens. Lol!!! Or you could say animals!!! I have fur and feather babies that I absolutely love!!
7. What is your child's/children's favorite thing about you or favorite thing that you do?
Seeing that my kids are old enough to answer this question, I asked them. Chyler told me that she just loves it when I spend time with her, no matter what we are doing. And Stella told me that she loves it when I spoil her and read her stories. Lol!! Oh my girls.
8. Any tips for other moms out there?
My advice would be to stay strong and take it day by day. Not one day is the same and not one child is alike. There will be some trying days and days that are easy. Just remember to ride it out and love them through it all, for when they are grown those will all be memories.
